Reget Prices

Updated 22/08/2024 Orders Products and Prices

The Reget Prices option in the Orders menu is used to update your customer orders with the latest pricing and rebates. For example, you may need to use Reget Prices if:

  • You have imported standard orders in advance - perhaps because you create Depot Orders for several days in advance. When these orders were imported, the pricing/rebate used when creating the customer orders was the price/rebate available at the time of importing, but there has since been an update.
  • You have added a price or rebate change to multiple products, created your orders, and then realised you forgot to change the price/rebate in one of your products.

If you make any change to pricing or rebates after customer orders are created, the changes may need to be applied to existing customer orders. The following are examples of when Reget Prices can be used to update the prices and/or rebates in customer orders to match new pricing:

Example 1:

You have imported your standard orders for the current week, but you have since had to make a price change to one of your products. When you view that product in your customer orders, the old price is being used.

Example 2:

You have imported your standard orders for the current week, but you have since made a change to the price of a product by adding an Adjustment to pricing in the customer's Standard Orders. When you view that product in your customer orders, the old price is being used.

Example 3:

You have imported your standard orders for the current week, but you have since changed the rebate on one or more products. When you view that product in your customer orders, the old rebate is being used.

Reget Prices will NOT update prices if the product has already had the docket printed,  or it is delivered or invoiced.
Reget Prices will NOT update rebates on products for which the rebate has already been claimed.
When regetting prices for Norco Vendor Customers (where Rebate and Base Price are set by Norco), both Prices and Rebates are refreshed together.
