The Print Labels option in the Orders menu enables you to select a delivery day and print labels for goods to be delivered on that day. The labels used are:
- Avery L7159 Address Labels, 64 x 33.8 mm, 24 per sheet
Label Printing Settings
- Each label prints three user-selectable lines which can be set up in the Label Printing Settings tab of General Settings
- See General Settings for details on using plain text or placeholders for selecting the information that will be printed on each label
- The default number of labels printed for each customer is calculated by dividing the total weight of the customer's order by the Weight per Pack specified in General Settings and rounding up
- The actual number of labels to be printed for each customer can be specified before printing by updating the calculated default in the Print Labels screen
Printing the Labels
Once your labels have been set up:
- Select Print Labels from the Orders menu
- Enter details of the labels to be printed:
- Delivery Date: Select the date for which you want to print labels
- The date defaults to your Working Date
- Rounds: To restrict printing to only some rounds, select one or more rounds here
- Leave blank to include all rounds
- Groups: If you wish to restrict printing to only some groups, select one or more groups here
- Leave blank to include all groups
- Billing Type: To restrict printing to only some billing types, select one or more billing types here
- Leave blank to include all billing types
- Customer Code From and Customer Code To: If required, you can restrict the printing to a range of customer codes
- Leave blank to include all customer codes
- Delivery Date: Select the date for which you want to print labels
- Click Search to display a list of customers with deliveries on the selected Delivery Date and who match any other filters you have set
- For each order, the list displays the Order Number, the customer details, the total number of items ordered, the total weight of the order, and the calculated number of labels to be delivered
- If required, change the number of labels to be printed for each customer in the Label Count column
- Change the Label Count to 0 to skip printing labels for that customer
- Click Print Labels
The labels are produced as a PDF which can be saved, previewed and printed.
