Receipts Reports

The Receipts Reports option of the Reports menu allows you to preview various receipts reports. To preview, print, email or save a report:

  • Select Receipts Reports from the Reports menu
  • Open the options for a report by clicking the report name
  • Enter the options you require
  • Click Preview

From the Print Preview window, you can print it, send an email with the report automatically attached, or download the report in various formats. See Printing in EasyVend for more details on using the Print Preview window.

Daily Receipt Reconciliation

This report can be used each day or week as a reconciliation for all payments received for the selected date range. It lists all receipts for the selected criteria, grouped and subtotalled by Receipt Date and Payment Method, and in receipt number sequence within the group.

  • Receipt Date From/To: Enter the date range for which you want to list receipts
  • Payment Method: To restrict the report to a single payment method, select the method from the drop-down list; select 'All Payments Methods' to include all receipts in the report

 

Declined Transaction Report

The Declined Transaction Report is only available if you have the payment gateway enabled. This report lists invoices for which customer payments via the payment gateway were declined in the selected date range. The report is automatically emailed to you each day there is a declined transaction.

  • Settlement Date From/To: Enter the date range for which you want to list declined payments

To enable the payment gateway, you must have a merchant account approved and activated by JealTech staff. Once the payment gateway is enabled:

  • You can set up automatic direct debits in the Payment Options Tab for each customer.
  • If you also have an online order website set up, customers will be able to order and to pay online by debit/credit card or by direct debit. 
  • The Declined Transaction Report will be available in the Receipts Reports option of the Reports menu.

Receipt Report

The Receipt Report lists receipts from each Customer, showing the receipt date, amount, type, GST, and any unallocated amount. The report is subtotalled by customer, and is sorted in receipt number sequence for each customer. In addition to selecting a date range for the receipts to be included, you can filter the report to include only the specified customers, or to show only unallocated receipts:

  • Receipt Date From/To: Enter the date range for which you want to list receipts
  • RoundsSelect one or more rounds to be included in the report; leave blank for all
  • Groups: Select one or more customer groups to be included in the report; leave blank for all
  • Customer From/To: Select a range of customers to be included in the report; leave empty to include all customers
  • Show Only Unallocated Receipts: Tick this option to include only receipts with an unallocated amount
  • Bank Account: To restrict the report to receipts assigned to a particular bank account, select the account from the drop-down list; select 'All' to include all bank accounts in the report

  • Export CSV: Click to download the report as an unformatted CSV file that can be manipulated in your spreadsheet software.

 

Bank Deposit Slip

The Bank Deposit Slip includes cheque and/or cash receipts for the selected period. Cheques are listed with details of drawer/bank/branch where available. The total of cash receipts for the period is shown, along with a Cash Breakup table where you can record the denominations of the notes and coins making up the cash total.

In General Settings - Report Settings, you can create a Bank Deposit Slip Footer that will be printed below the Cash Breakup table of each deposit slip. This may contain information such as your bank account details.

  • Date From/To: Enter the date range for which you want to list receipts
  • Payment Method: The default 'All' includes both cash and cheque receipts. You can select only cash or only cheque if required.
  • RoundsSelect one or more rounds to be included in the report; leave blank for all
